Unit Price Worksheets (Which Is the Better Buy?)
Compare two sizes and prices. Find the better buy.
About this worksheet
Two versions of the same product at different sizes and prices. Students decide which is the better buy, first by price alone, then by working out the price for one item or the price per ounce or per 100 g.

What each level includes
- Level 1: Same size, different price.
- Level 2: Packs of different sizes. Find the price for one.
- Level 3: Different weights. Find the price per ounce or per 100 g.
Ideas for using it
- Bring two real packages from home and test the answer.
- Remind students that the bigger pack is not always the better buy.
