Counting Money Worksheets for Teens and Adults

Count bills and coins. Money changes with the country you pick.

About this worksheet

Each row shows a set of bills and coins. Students count them and write the total. The money changes to match the country you choose, so a student in Toronto counts loonies and a student in Leeds counts pound coins.

Example of the Counting Money Worksheets for Teens and Adults printable, Level 2

What each level includes

  • Level 1: A few $1 bills, or 1 and 2 pound, dollar or euro coins in countries that use them.
  • Level 2: Bills of different values, plus whole-dollar coins where your country has them.
  • Level 3: Bills and coins together, including cents or pence.

Ideas for using it

  • Pair the sheet with real or play money so students can build each row before writing.
  • Ask students to sort the money from largest to smallest before they count.
